สกายแทร็กซ์ Skytrax บริษัทที่ปรึกษาธุรกิจการบินชั้นนำของโลก ได้ประกาศผล “สนามบินที่ดีที่สุดในโลก ประจำปี 2566” ที่โหวตโดยลูกค้าสายการบินจากทั่วโลก ในการสำรวจสนามบินโลกปี 2565-2566 ผลที่ออกมาในปีนี้ ก็มีการพลิกโผเปลี่ยนลำดับนิดหน่อยจากปีก่อนหน้า จากการที่สนามบินเกือบทุกแห่งในโลก เริ่มเปิดทำการบินกันคึกคักมากขึ้น หลังจากวิกฤติการณ์โควิดระบาดในช่วง 2 ปีที่ผ่านมา โดย สนามบินสิงคโปร์ชางฮี กลับมาทวงบัลลังก์แชมป์ ทำให้ Hamad International Airport สนามบินนานาชาติที่ กรุงโดฮา ประเทศกาตาร์ หล่นไปเป็นลำดับที่ 2 ในขณะที่ สนามบินสุวรรณภูมิ ของไทยเราขยับจากลำดับที่ 77 ในปีที่ผ่านมาขึ้นมาอยู่ลำดับที่ 68 สำหรับสนามบินที่อยู่ในลำดับที่ 1-10 ในปี 2566 มีดังนี้

1		Singapore Changi Singapore Changi Airport is one of the busiest passenger hubs for south east Asia, and is renowned for its unrivalled passenger experiences. It is the hub airport for Singapore Airlines.
2		Doha Hamad Hamad International Airport is the international airport for Doha, the capital city of Qatar. The airport has been described as the most architecturally significant terminal complex in the world, as well as being the most luxurious. It is the hub airport for Qatar Airways.
3		Tokyo Haneda Tokyo Haneda International Airport is one of the world’s busiest airports, and is Japan’s busiest airport being located less than 30 minutes south of central Tokyo. The airport has three terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and the international Terminal 3.
4		Seoul Incheon Incheon International Airport is the largest airport in South Korea and one of the busiest airports in the world. It is a former winner of the Airport of the Year title at the World Airport Awards.
5		Paris CDG Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is the largest international airport in France. The Airport serves as the principal hub for Air France. Opened in 1974, it is named after statesman Charles de Gaulle.
6		Istanbul Istanbul Airport is the main international airport serving Istanbul, Turkey, and is the primary hub of Turkish Airlines. The airport currently has one terminal in service for domestic and international flights.
7		Munich Munich Airport is the second busiest airport in Germany and the secondary hub for Lufthansa German Airlines. With over 150 retail stores and some 50 places where you can eat and drink, it’s like a city centre, offering travelers and visitors plenty to see and do.
8		Zurich Zurich Airport the busiest airport in Switzerland, and is the primary hub of Swiss International Air Lines, and is located 12 km from downtown Zurich.
9		Tokyo Narita Tokyo Narita Airport is an international airport serving the Greater Tokyo Area of Japan. Narita serves as the international hub for Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways.
10		Madrid Barajas Madrid Barajas Airport is the main airport of Madrid, and as the hub airport for Iberia, it is an important connection point for flights between Europe and Latin America.

สำหรับรางวัลอื่นๆ ที่น่าสนใจในการจำแนกสนามบิน ก็มีอีกหลายประเภท เช่น

• สนามบินที่มีทีมงานบริการภาคพื้นดีสุดเป็นของสนามบิน Seoul Incheon แห่งเกาหลีใต้
• สนามบินที่ได้ชื่อว่าสะอาดที่สุดในโลก คิอ สนามบิน Tokyo Haneda จากญี่ปุ่น (ยังไม่มีใครมาเทียบชั้นได้นานมากแล้ว สะอาดจริงๆ เพราะพนักงานที่นี่มีจิตใจที่ทุ่มเทสุดๆ ชมที่นี่เลย)
• สนามบินที่มีจำนวนผู้โดยสารพลุกพล่านที่สุด คือ สนามบิน Istanbul ของประเทศตุรเคีย
• สนามบินในระดับภูมิภาคที่ดีที่สุด (มีเที่ยวบินระหว่างประเทศน้อย แต่คับคั่งสำหรับสายการบินในประเทศ) คือ สนามบิน Centrair Nakoya แห่งญี่ปุ่น
• สนามบินที่ได้ชื่อว่ามีความปลอดภัยสูงสุด คือ สนามบิน Zurich ในสวิสเซอร์แลนด์ เป็นต้น

สำหรับสนามบินสุวรรณภูมิบ้านเรานั้น ได้เลื่อนอันดับจาก ลำดับที่ 77 ในปี 2565 มาเป็นลำดับที่ 68 ในปี 2566 แต่ก็ไม่ได้อยู่ในกลุ่มใดๆ ที่ดีเป็นพิเศษ เนื่องจากการปิดให้บริการไปในระยะ 2 ปีที่ผ่านมาจากการเกิดโรคระบาด ทำให้เกิดการขาดแคลนพนักงาน และการบริการภาคพื้นดินที่เราเคยโดดเด่น จากการให้บริการของ บริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (ที่เข้าสู่แผนฟื้นฟูกิจการในช่วงที่ผ่านมา) และ บริษัท บริการภาคพื้นกรุงเทพ เวิร์ลดไวด์ ไฟลท์ เซอร์วิส หรือ BFS นั้นยังไม่เพียงพอ กำลังประกาศรับสมัครผู้ให้บริการรายที่ 3 ในเร็วๆ นี้ เพื่อให้การให้บริการด้านการขนส่งผู้โดยสารในลานจอด การบริการรับส่งกระเป๋าสัมภาระจากอากาศยานมายังสายพานลำเลียง การจัดระวางบรรทุกสินค้า เป็นต้น

ถ้าประเทศไทยเราต้องการให้สนามบินติดลำดับโลกให้ได้ จึงต้องทำการพัฒนาในหลายๆ ด้านไปพร้อมๆ กัน ดูอย่างสนามบินสิงคโปร์ชางอี ทำไมถึงติดลำดับต้นๆ ของโลกมาตลอด ถ้าดูลงไปให้ลึกแล้วจะพบว่า เขาเป็นหนึ่งในเอเซียมาตลอดในการพัฒนาด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครัน (World’s Best Airport Leisure Amenities) ทั้งการเดินทางเชื่อมต่อตัวเมืองกับสนามบิน สถานที่พักผ่อนหย่อนใจ แหล่งช็อปปิ้งภายในสนามบิน มีสถานที่บริการด้านอาหาร (World’s Best Airport Dining) ยอดเยี่ยมที่สุด ซึ่งของเราก็ยังแก้ปัญหาไม่ได้อยู่มาก ตั้งแต่ความสะอาดห้องน้ำ ร้านอาหาร/ร้านสะดวกซื้อมีราคาแพงกว่าปกติมากโขอยู่ แท็กซี่ปิดมิเตอร์ให้ใช้บริการเหมาๆ แทน เป็นต้น
